Advantage Sports and Leisure liaise with manufacturers, engineers, architects and builders to ensure the proper selection of equipment. When architectural drawings are provided, we offer a computer design service, setting out court layouts, fixing points and correct positioning of equipment. Advantage Sports and Leisure has the qualifications and expertise to carry out large installations and are able to meet all safety standards.
Grand Slam sports equipment is engineered for strength and reliability. All their equipment is designed to meet the most rigorous safety standards and their outdoor equipment is designed for even the most extreme conditions (outdoor equipment can be supplied for wind ratings from W33 to W50).
Wherever possible, Grand Slam products are manufactured from long-lasting, highly durable galvanised steel with the option of in house powder coating in high-grade polyester to give years of maintenance free use. Outdoor standard grade steel products are hot dipped galvanised after fabrication and can be powder coated or painted to suit your needs.

LIGHTING
Advantage Sports and Leisure is proud to recommend and supply RUUD lighting – the attractive, energy efficient lighting solution which delivers minimal environmental impact.
The superior asymmetric optics of RUUD fixtures allows the compact size of its square housings, which in turn reduces wind loads. This means that the luminaries can be mounted at lower heights than competitive fixtures - thus reducing light pole costs and light spillage and glare. Light your court - not the neighbour’s yard! This also means that it is much easier to change lamps when needed, although the anticipated life is over 15,000 hours.
All RUUD fixtures come standard with high power factor C.W.A. control gear, seamless die cast aluminium housings, 'Delta Guard' 7 years finish warranty, adjustable fitter mounts and lamps. Of particular interest in our part of the world is that RUUD fixtures have an insect ingress seal which prevents bugs getting in and all screws are stainless steel.

SPECTATOR SEATING
Advantage Sports and Leisure has access to Australia's most experienced seating designers and manufacturers to assist you in making maximum use of your facility. Whether you require outdoor spectator seating, bench seats or complete fit out of an indoor stadium, we can provide the best solution for your requirements and venue.
One of the safest and sturdiest bench seating kits available is the prefabricated kit manufactured by Steel, Post and Rail. These kits are specified and approved by Q-Build and Project Services and are cost effective, low maintenance, safe and easy to install. The seats are extremely resilient to the North’s harsh conditions, do not require painting or mould removal and are difficult to damage or vandalise.
Steel, Post and Rail has the highest quality assurance rating in Australia AS3901 which also covers design, research and development. Units are manufactured from galvabond, glavanised roll-formed sections with a steel base grade of G300 and a hot dipped zinc coating to class Z300 prior to colourbond coating. Standard Colourbond colours are off white, mist green and Caulfield green, however other colours are available.
Advantage Sports & Leisure also recommends and supplies Acromat retractable tiered, stadium and auditorium seating and staging. Acromat is well renowned for their design and manufacture of innovative fixed, mobile and retractable seating solutions, as used at the Sydney Olympics and Sydney Opera House!

FENCING
Advantage Sports and Leisure provides court fencing for residential, school and club requirements. With 25 years experience in installing court fencing, we can recommend the most appropriate design for your installation. Our school court fences are designed to meet Education Queensland specifications and our club courts are designed as per the relevant sporting authority’s guidelines. If it is something more creative you are looking for in a recreational court, we can install something to your taste – from drop downs and gazebos, to truncated corners and hit up walls!
For recreational courts, where budget allows, we recommend powder coated posts and a top and bottom rail. (Although not strictly necessary, a bottom rail does give a neat finish to the fence and prevents the mesh from curling up over time). If you are considering court lighting, we can also recommend the installation of powder coated light poles in the fence line to improve the overall appearance and provide greater economy.
